Title: Advancing AI with Large Generative Models: Research and Applications

Recent breakthroughs in large generative models, such as ChatGPT and Midjourney, have ignited considerable enthusiasm in both commercial and research sectors. These models have demonstrated remarkable progress in natural language processing tasks, including common-sense reasoning and translation, while also offering wide-ranging applications across various fields such as mathematics, physics, computational biology, and robotics. In this talk, we will discuss the transformative impact of large language models on the foundational paradigm of artificial intelligence, transitioning from traditional supervised learning to more generalized learning approaches, including zero-shot, few-shot, and in-context learning. Furthermore, we will highlight our progress in developing efficient transformers and advancing text generation techniques. We will also briefly delve into interdisciplinary research, investigating the applications of large generative models in fields such as computational biology, AI for law, and AI for science.
